If you are new to yoga or just starting up again, contact us to discuss the best classes to suit your needs. Our classes are open to all levels and will vary in vigor depending on the style and teacher. Each style of yoga offers its own unique wisdom with a like-minded goal of bringing you balance and harmony. We encourage you to take different classes and find what works best for you!
Core Vinyasa
This class integrates the strength, stability and alignment of core work (abdominals, lower back and shoulders) with the fluid power of vinyasa flow.
Forrest Yoga
Strengthen your core through carefully designed postures that work to support your abdominals, hips, back, shoulders, upper body, legs, and more. Open to all levels, each class begins with a breathing exercise (pranayama). Then moves into some abdominal work and additional postures to open and brighten body and spirit. This practice is great for working with an injury as well as pre and post-natal students. Pregnant women will be given modified postures during abdominals. This class is done in 85-90 degree heat.
Hot Hatha
This class consits of a series of 26 basic yoga postures practiced in a 100 degree room. It is open to all levels of practitioners and has no weight bearing poses on the wrists and shoulders, making it great for those who may hold injuries in these joints. Come rejuvenate yourself through the purification of this steamy class, and melt away the tensions of the body and soul!
Pilates
Based on Joseph Pilates work founded over 70 years ago, this hour class is designed to work the abdominals, back, shoulders and hips. This is not a yoga class but instead a great body practice that compliments yoga. All classes are done on the mat at room temperature. Come enjoy this aerobic mix of core strengtheners!
Pilates Strength
Pilates Strength incorporates traditional Pilates moves, low impact cardio and strength training. Developed with the help of Personal Trainer, Crossfit Certified Instructor and close friend, Lauren Sheinfeldt. This class is a full body workout and targets all the right places: Deep and Superficial Muscles – from your transverse abdominis, pecs, triceps, biceps glutes and hamstrings: you name it – you’ll feel it!
Power Vinyasa
Similar to the other vinyasa classes, but heated to 95 degrees and, often, more vigorous. This class is most similar to Ashtanga and Baptiste yoga, and is favored by those seeking a quicker, more physical practice. Transform your body, mind, and soul through awareness of movement and breath, and open to the fullest potential of your inner strength and wisdom!
Sacred Yoga
This savory class incorporates slow movement and meditation into a calm practice. Perfect for beginners and advanced practitioners open to soft openings and mind-body awareness. Each class begins with 10 minutes of meditation. The room is heated to 95 degrees and is candlelit. Come to revitalize; leave feeling refreshed and ready for the upcoming week!
Vinyasa Flow
Incorporating classical Sun Salutations and a variety of asanas, this class emphasizes mindfulness in every aspect of your practice. Come enjoy the benefits of balancing effort with ease, as you honor your physical abilities and boundaries.
Vinyasa
Transition one breath at a time as you learn to synchronize movement of body with rhythm of breath. Based on the devotion and discovery of Sun Salutations, this continuously moving flow links posture and breath to mind-body awareness leaving you feeling revitalized, refreshed, and restored.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. In Yin Yoga, all the postures are done on the floor (no standing poses) and are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive 'stress' on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body. Physically, Yin Yoga restores and maintains the natural mobility of the joints, primarily between the navel and the knees. Energetically, Yin Yoga opens the body's meridian system, which enhances the body's energetic flow and supports emotional equilibrium. And as this practice emphasizes stillness and silence, Yin Yoga prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation.
The Community Class
For the Community; by the Community. Honoring the premise that money should not keep you from practicing yoga, this class is offered and led by a rotation of All One Yoga teachers and teachers in training, and will vary from week to week based on individual teaching stye. Class is open to all levels and the room is heated to a moderate 80 degrees. This is a $5 cash only class; All One Yoga class packs do not apply.
Accessible to all levels, each class varies depending on the teacher. Class is heated between 80 and 90 degrees and may include music. Come ignite the joy of your inner rhythm in this blissful class!
