For Peter, the practice of yoga is crucial to cultivating a high quality of life. By reducing stress, healing old physical and emotional injuries as well as addressing addiction, his yoga practice has helped guide him to a place of personal wellbeing. Having grown up overweight with a sedentary lifestyle, Peter now firmly believes that the body needs to move. With movement comes openness and joy.

Peter's teachings focus on the core as the body's central powerhouse. Guided by the breath and using yoga asana to strengthen the body, the power of yoga will cultivate strength, inner heat and a high quality of overall health. His classes are safe and encourage exploration, emphasizing staying open to new yoga poses and consequently new life experience.

Peter has studied several yoga systems including Ashtanga, Bikram, Baptiste Power Vinyasa, and Forrest Yoga. His mentors include Ana Forrest, Lynne Begier, Lori O' Doherty, Caroline Harvey, and David Vendetti. He completed his first teacher training in Asthanga Vinyasa in 2003 and most recently, the Foundational Forrest Yoga Teacher Training with Ana Forrest.

Peter is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher and a member of Ana Forrest's Hoop of the Teachers.
